Opera di astrologia pura; contiene nella prima parte i principi base della disciplina astrologica; nella seconda parte si trovano le incisioni di numerosi oroscopi commentati e tra questi quelli che seguono: Carlo V d’Austria; Filippo III di Spagna; Henry IV di France; Sebastiano, Re del Portogallo; Gustavo Adolfo, Re di Svezia; il Duca di Parma; il Cardinale Aldobrandini; il Cardinale Antonio Fachinetti; l’astrologo William Lilly; l’autore John Bishop.

Curiosa e per me inesplicabile la seconda edizione, di seguito descritta. In essa, infatti, sparisce il nome del primo Autore, Richard Kirby, e sopravvive invece soltanto John Bishop, che figurava già nella prima edizione e che qui, nella seconda, aggiunge una breve Appendix. Inoltre, la seconda edizione ha una prima parte datata 1689 e una seconda parte datata 1688, come del resto l’Appendix. Cosa sia accaduto nell’anno che separa la prima edizione dalla seconda è mistero. Eccone la descrizione.
