Altri almanacchi di altro “well-wisher in astrology”, in quei casi riconoscibile per le sigle M.A. e W.S. (e non, come qui, H.S.), chenon sembrano rappresentare le iniziali degli autori, furono pubblicati negli anni 1694-1698 (vedi le schede nn. 8622-8624). A loro volta, questi almanacchi fanno parte di una “serie” di opere di analogo contenuto (astrologico), pubblicate dalla metà del XVII secolo fino al primo decennio del XVII, e forse oltre, da editori di Glasgow, Aberdeen ed Edinburgh, in assoluta prevalenza Robert Sanders e John Forbes, nonché, in misura minore, Andrew Anderson e John Reid. Con ogni probabilità, nonostante i numerosi pseudonimi utilizzati o le semplici iniziali, questi almanacchi furono curati da pochi autori, forse non più di due o tre. Si caratterizzano per l'identità del formato (tutti in 8°) e la paginazione (tutti di 8 carte, spesso non numerate).
