Nel testo, in E8 recto, è inciso l'oroscopo orario del 29 settembre 1663 di una casa da cui erano stati rubati vestiti di valore. Il verso del titolo e il verso di G6 sono bianchi. Capilettera xilografici. Dedica a Charles Chip senza data né luogo, seguita dalla Letter to the reader.
Il duplice tema della identificazione dei ladri e del recupero della refurtiva per via astrologica (qui trattato) era consueto nel XVII secolo: l’opera qui descritta se ne occupa in via esclusiva, estendendo l’indagine anche agli oggetti smarriti. Non ho identificato altre opere di questo astrologo specialista.
