Libro davvero bello e con belle incisioni, nonostante la stampa inglese. E’ prevalentemente opera tecnico-astronomica, riguardando la costruzione e l’uso dell’astrolabio, ma non mancano i profili astrologici. Per esempio, Tanner dedica le carte 34-35 all’elencazione delle città e dei luoghi sottoposti a i 12 Segni zodiacali, uno dei temi più contrastati dell’intera disciplina astrologica. Molte carte contengono le latitudini delle più importanti città e Paesi del mondo. Nelle ultime [2] carte si trovano le tavole delle moveable feasts in forraine nations.
